                         ----CHILDREN'S SIZING----

Finished garment measurements are provided for your sizing convenience, and are the best way to ensure fit. Please see sizing chart in the listing photos to choose the best size for your little one. 
 
•Baby sizes up to 18months do run a tad small, you may want to size up.

•"Kids" sizes (kids 6 and up) run big, I recommend sizing down if your child is petite. I do not recommend sizing up "for longer use." (Consider sizing down and purchasing the "long" option if your child is tall). 

•"Long" leggings are a custom option we provide for all our children's leggings. If you select a "long" size your child's leggings will have additional length (1"-2" depending on size) added to the legs - perfect for your tall little ones! 


----WOMEN'S SIZING----
Women's unicorn leggings 

These leggings have a yoga band for extra comfort (no annoying elastic to pinch you uncomfortably). They also have a higher rise and sit just above the hip bones, which give a nice slimming effect and an amazingly comfortable fit. The hem is finished with a standard rolled hem unless a cuffed hem is requested in notes to seller section when ordering. 

Please check the sizing chart in the photos to determine the best size for you and contact me if you are unsure of where or how to measure. High hip measurement is taken at your upper hip bone, whereas the hip measurement is taken across your hip/booty at its fullest part. If your measurements have you fall between sizes order up. You'll notice that all leggings have the same inseam, but not all mermaids are the same height! If you'd like to provide an inseam measurement for added customization please do so in the notes to seller section. (An additional fee may apply depending on the size added due to fabric costs.)

-Care Instructions-
All the creations in my shop are handmade with conventional home use sewing machines and sergers and as such it is recommended that all items are handwashed with a mild detergent in cool water and line dried. It is not recommended to wash your items in a washing machine or dryer; however, if you choose to do so, please keep a few things in mind. Always wash inside out in cold water and air dry with no heat to avoid shrinkage and increase the life of your items. Items made with lace should always be handwashed and hung to dry, as lace is extremely delicate. Also, mermaid items are never meant to be put in hot water or a heated dryer as extreme heat can damage the beautiful holographic effect of the fabric.
